Awning I Beams

I-Beams and Splices

Retail prices for aluminum awning I-Beams.

Aluminum I-beams are used under an awning to add strength and to allow the panels to span greater distances.

If an awning panel can safely span 10', the addition of an I-beam will allow the same gauge panel to span 20'.

The larger the I-beam you use the farther your post spacing can be.  A 4" beam should have a post every 12' or so.  A 7" beam can have column spacing up to 20'.

aluminum I-beam Beams are sold in 20' and 24' lengths.  Splices are used to connect the beams when longer distances are needed.
