AGP Heater Connections

I have an Intex 16` x 48" circular pool. Intex heaters only go up to 15` pools. The connections on the heater I bought are 32mm, the filter pump connections are 40mm. Is there any product to either increase/reduce connection size? Are there hoses available to fit both sizes? Will be very grateful for any help, thanks in advance.



Hi Jamie. There are a few products available that might be what you are looking for. Doughboy makes an above ground pool filter hose with a different size at each end. That might be what you need. There nearest Doughboy dealer should have these, if not they could be ordered.

There is also a rubber bushing made that can be inserted into the larger hose to reduce it to the smaller size. A well stocked above ground pool department should either carry these or be able to order them.

There are also hose adapters made that can accept either size hose. If your adapters are threaded, and can be changed, this might be the best option. These might be the easiest to find, and anyone the carries Hayward products, would have access to them.
