Is AsahiParts.com Still Active?

by Michael

You mentioned AsahiParts.com in a link to find older parts for an AGP.

I have attempted to order some bottom rails from them and received acknowledgment of the order which was placed in late June, but all attempts to contact them on the status of the order do not get a reply.

I understand you provided their name as a service and are not responsible for them, but am wondering if you know if they are still active.

Thank you. Michael

I, too, ordered bottom rails in September 2009 from this website. Every attempt was made in the following months to contact them either by phone and e-mail to see when my parts would be shipped out. At the end of October, we gave up and fabricated something else to make our existing bottom rails work. In February 2010, I finally received my bottom rails from them. I live in Wisconsin. Why they would think that bottom rails were needed in February is beyond me. We kept the rails and they are sitting in our garage, but I would never order from them again. No response from them, and it takes 5 months to ship something out?

Thank you so very much for this information. It will be noted in the areas where this company is referred.

no parts!
by: Kimmy

I ordered a side rail cover that broke when a large tree branch fell on top of our above ground pool. I ordered on 6/25/10, received confirmation, but haven't received the part. Wasn't even sure if it would work either? All attempts to contact them have failed - maybe I'll get it for next year? For now, the edges of the two rails have duck tape on them, so no one cuts their head. Does anyone know of another part retailer? I don't even know what type of pool it is anymore.

I ordered 2 bottom rails from Asahi also as I cannot install without replacing the 2 badly rusted rails. I received confirmation immediately. I am still waiting after 10 days to put up the pool. I can't find a phone # and they have not answered the email. What a way to do business.

We ordered parts for our above ground pool and they arrived a week later, they were the wrong size. We sent them back June 7th with a letter explaining and asking for a refund because they did not carry our size. I have yet to hear anything from them and have e-maied them several times. The sale was $227.90,I want a refund but cannot reach them. Anyone have phone #?
