Learjet Pool Liner

by Bud
(Western Ohio)

I am in the process of installing a new beaded above ground vinyl liner on my 24' x 52" deep pool.

I have the liner installed and all wrinkles worked out and about 5" of water in the pool using my garden hose.

My question is: there is currently about 2-4" gap between liner and steel frame of pool, will the liner expand that much filling it slowly with garden hose? The beaded top went together real nice and seemed just perfect in size.

Hi Bud.

beaded liner installationThat is exactly how I like to see my beaded liner installs fit the pool, with a few inches of tightness on the sides. That is so much better than even an inch of slack, or excess liner.

It is important to do the pool filling under direct sunlight. Get as much sun on the liner as possible and it will continue to fill with no problems.
