Pool Blocks Not In Same Place

Hi, I am putting up another pool and I am noticing that the blocks do not seem to be in the same spot as the ones before, is this normal? Can I leave the other blocks in place instead of taking them out.

Hi Melecia

That is a good question. Most pools are a little different as to the way the footplates would lay out. In Arizona with very hard ground we seldom use blocks, so in many cases they are not critical. My question would be was the last pool level? If not pull all the blocks and reset them under the uprights and use a laser to get them all level.

If the old level was fine I would just use them as leveling aids and make sure everything between the block is all at the same level, it is not mandatory that the blocks are directly under each footplate.
