Resin pool caps

I have a 16 X 40 above ground pool with steel caps. Two years ago I had them striped down to bare metal and repainted, now the paint is coming off again. I would like to change them to plastic so that they will not peel. Can I buy just the caps????

I do not know of any pools that have the same type caps in steel and resin. Resin caps are usually made to fit over resin rails. There are a few that go over steel rails but I cannot think of any model that makes the same cap in resin and steel.

Steel top caps are much better and will last a lot longer. You could try sand blasting them and then painting them again with a good quality primer and then a finish enamel.

I have seen steel pool parts taken to an auto paint shop and come back looking like new.
