Used Asahi Pool Bottom Rails

by Lucille Davis
(Richland, MO)

I bought a used 28’ round Asahi above ground swimming pool and need to replace some of the bottom railing. I have found the parts online but I don’t see where they come in 28’. They only have listed 27’ or 30’. Would the 27’ be the right one to buy for my pool?

Hi Lucille. They should work just fine. The only difference the size makes is in the arc of the rail. There is such little difference between a 27’ and a 28’ it would not matter.

The Asahi pool parts site only shows that they made a 27’ pool. To the best of my knowledge that would be correct. You might want to double check the size of your pool. An easy way to do this would be to lay out all of the bottom rails, connect them to the footplates, and measure the size pool they make.

As long as you order the correct amount of bottom rails, and as long as they are the same length, you should be fine regardless of the size of your pool. If the new rails are longer than what you have, cut them to size. If they are to short you should be able to set a wider gap in the footplates to make up the difference.
